Thank you. 00:00:15
Our school was founded in 2003 and is one of the most important institutions in the country. 00:00:45
It is the largest school in the world and the largest school in the world. 00:00:51
Our school was founded in 2003 and is one of the most important institutions in the world. 00:00:57
Our school was founded in 2003 and is one of the most important institutions in the world. 00:01:03
our school was born in 2003 being then the second public school of soto del real in 00:01:09
two years it doubled its space and now we can house up to 500 students since its creation the 00:01:19
school has not stopped growing not only in human resources or materials but also in 00:01:25
educational quality and I would attribute this success precisely to the three pillars that form 00:01:31
in our educational community, which are the children, the parents, the teachers and the 00:01:37
teachers, they provide a lot of energy in the same project, which is the child and their 00:01:43
integral, individualized and supportive education. 00:01:50
In 2010, the school became part of the bilingual program. The program starts in primary school 00:02:07
and continues throughout primary school, 00:02:14
but we think it is necessary for a strong children's base. 00:02:16
That is why a large investment of resources is made in this stage. 00:02:20
The children who live in the urbanizations of the Cerro 00:02:44
are transported on route accompanied by a monitor. 00:02:47
Every day we pick them up at the stop and we accompany them to the bus on the way back. 00:02:50
Just as when exercising we do a little warm-up, 00:03:12
Before the curricular activity, we dedicate a few minutes to prepare the brain. 00:03:16
This way we can improve the balance between the two brain hemispheres, 00:03:21
and improve attention, concentration and memory. 00:03:25
These aspects are fundamental for learning, that's why we work on them. 00:03:29
Throughout the day, children can be more or less nervous and show more or less negative behaviors. 00:03:37
We help them understand their emotions and offer them a special space in each class where they can reflect on them and calm down. 00:03:43
This school is like a small large family where everyone is an important part. 00:03:57
It is welcoming, open, dynamic. 00:04:02
The base of a good primary school is that it is in children's school, that is why we take care of it with care and care. 00:04:05
We work from the beginning, trying that the child does not skip stages without forcing his development and taking care of the last detail. 00:04:11
Children are explorers of their own learning, so in this stage they need to move and experiment with their body. 00:04:18
For this reason, we adapt spaces, materials, in order to guarantee the best way to successfully start the process of reading and writing in primary school. 00:04:25
We do not use editorial methods to work with children. 00:04:34
our way of doing in the classroom is through small projects where each one 00:04:38
contributes a little bit of their grain of sand we take good care of the collaboration with 00:04:44
families and especially through routines daily habits we are promoting their development 00:04:49
children are our protagonists and they carry the reins of their life the teachers 00:04:56
we accompany them in their development and we help them to learn for themselves making 00:05:02
that the school is a place where you want to be, where you want to stay, 00:05:07
now also where you want to return and where you can reach the maximum of your possibilities. 00:05:10
We trust each one of them. 00:05:15
We keep very good memories of this school, 00:05:18
of the teachers, of the classes, of the classmates. 00:05:21
And now we are doing the master's practices. 00:05:24
And when we came here to the practices, 00:05:28
we felt very proud to see how the school had evolved a lot 00:05:30
and has worked hard to innovate. 00:05:35
It seems to us a very special school 00:05:37
because it has always been focused 00:05:39
on the needs of its students 00:05:41
and has evolved according to them, 00:05:43
always for the better. 00:05:45
There is a working environment in the team 00:05:46
where, although the professionals change, 00:05:48
each person who comes 00:05:50
can contribute and enrich, 00:05:52
because they are open 00:05:54
to keep learning new methods, 00:05:56
new strategies, 00:05:58
new technologies 00:06:00
and seek good international practices to apply them in school. 00:06:02
In this school, Chozas de la Sierra, so many intangible things happen 00:06:08
and it is solved knowing how to look beyond behavior, 00:06:14
with a smile, with a look of encouragement, with a you can, 00:06:19
with a try it again, with a don't worry. 00:06:24
We go in and out to the sound of the music, sometimes we sing and dance, but above all we go in 00:06:29
quietly and we go out very happy, the music calms us. 00:06:49
The sixth grade students share the spaces of the patio and the material to play. 00:06:53
Here we all participate so that living together in the school is a very beautiful experience. 00:06:59
We try to solve the conflicts that may arise among the classmates. 00:07:04
We are the ones who solve the conflicts and so everyone knows who to turn to if they have a problem. 00:07:08
The library is a very important place in our school, it is a meeting place, 00:07:45
so every day at recess time it is open and the students come to pick up books, to return, to read and to participate. 00:07:49
Among other programs, we can also highlight the one on language stimulation and the one on phonological consciousness, 00:07:58
both very important for the learning of reading and writing. 00:08:16
Other important programs at the school are the one on spelling and the one on mathematics. 00:08:26
We try to do the manipulative mathematics so that the children absorb well the contents and not only the mechanics. 00:08:35
One of our maximum priorities is to get as close as possible to the most natural and at least artificial as possible with regard to food. 00:08:45
Our preparation is always daily, all the food that is consumed is prepared during the day. 00:09:05
We try to bring a balance with respect to vegetables, legumes, olive oil, fruits and fish in proportion to the Mediterranean diet, 00:09:15
always keeping in mind that beginners are children. 00:09:30
There are traffic lights in the dining room. 00:09:35
If we scream a lot, they turn red. 00:09:38
If we scream a little, they turn green. 00:09:40
That helps us not to scream so much. 00:09:42
Because of the circumstances, 00:09:45
every day there is a higher number of children with allergies, 00:09:47
celiac, diabetic, intolerance. 00:09:51
is a very important issue in the kitchen. 00:09:56
Here I make the food, but then there is a specific person 00:10:01
who is only dedicated to putting the diet to each child according to their circumstances. 00:10:06
That is taken very strictly, since it does not lead to error. 00:10:12
One of our priorities is the integration of children. 00:10:19
That is why we believe that it is very important that children sit with their companions in the dining room despite the diet they may have, a special diet. 00:10:22
Therefore, we do not want to separate them in a special table for them since they need to be with their companions and enjoy their company and enjoy their free time and their time in the dining room. 00:10:32
It is supervised by me, who is the one who works it, it is supervised by my assistant, who is the one who mounts it, it is supervised by the coordinator, who in turn prepares it for each monitor, and finally it is supervised by the monitor, who serves it to the child. 00:10:47
In the dining room it is very important the placement of the chairs, since in them, in many of them, we have put some posters in which it indicates if there is any type of problem with a child, any type of special diet at that time. 00:11:06
That is why it is very important to always control the order in the dining room. 00:11:22
I think it is one of the most important tasks that are done today within the dining rooms, 00:11:27
because if not, these children would not have the possibility to eat in a school center. 00:11:34
AMPA is the association of mothers and fathers of students and acts as a connection between the management team, teachers and parents of the school. 00:11:41
One of the main services of AMPA is the first and last one, which facilitates the family and work conciliation of the parents. 00:11:57
They can leave the children at 7.30 in the morning and pick them up at 6 in the afternoon. 00:12:05
Another of the services that is working better and better this year is that of extracurriculars. 00:12:12
We do it at lunchtime and the children, after eating, go to each of their extracurricular classes. 00:12:21
This year we have had to increase all the classes because, as I have mentioned, the success is tremendous. 00:12:28
We are a school in which we always try to listen to what the child tells us. 00:12:53
We work from love and respect, and I think we achieve just that, respect. 00:12:57
Everything that is offered in this school is a reflection of the vocation of service and the strength of a large group of professionals who work day after day in the performance of their profession. 00:13:02
Teach with heart. 00:13:15
