Hello, I am Alan. Hello, I am Álvaro. And we are going to explain what we use ED. 00:00:00
Part 1. To find the regular verbs in the past tense, the simple past, we must add ED or D to the basic form to the verb. 00:00:08
For example, talk, talked. I talked to my mom. Dance, dance it. Yesterday I danced in a party. 00:00:19
Some regular verbs also suffer some changes in the past. To form the simple past of regular verbs in English we must add "-ib or "-t to the basic form of the verb. 00:00:27
For example, stopped. We stopped in the car. Cried, cried. I cried because I didn't want to do that. 00:00:43
Part 3. If a regular verb ends in a consonant or a vowel other than e, the ending in ed is added. 00:00:51
If a regular verb ends with the letter e, the ending in d is added. For example, late, late, I played that game. 00:01:03
Love, loved. She loved the presents from Santa. 00:01:13
And this is the end. Bye bye! 00:01:18
