Hi guys, I'm at a balcony at my village because today we're going to start a new project. 00:00:08
We start a new unit, animals, and to do it we are going to use cardboard. 00:00:15
So you have to go to the street or send someone to the street and you have to pick up an A2 cardboard. 00:00:20
Important. Color? Well, it doesn't matter. 00:00:27
Because most of the things we're going to stick in will be on white paper. 00:00:30
Okay, so basically for this project you will need a cardboard, an A2 cardboard, A2, okay, 2, number 2, of any color, you will use white paper and also you will use scissors and glue and colors, markers, yeah, you know, all these things that we use in class, we are going to use it now. 00:00:35
Let me explain you the general things of the project and then you can start working. 00:00:59
Okay, so the first thing will be to know why we're making this project, okay? 00:01:10
This project, we are making it to have an overview on all the different animals group. 00:01:15
Okay, so with a simple view we're going to have the general characteristics of animals, 00:01:20
phylogenetic tree which means who is more similar to who and also inside 00:01:26
inside the cardboard we're gonna see the different types of animals that we have 00:01:34
invertebrates vertebrates different type of invertebrates different type of 00:01:41
vertebrates okay so with this classification you will have a general 00:01:45
view of the different types of animals just when we open the cardboard that's 00:01:49
very important okay here are some examples from projects from other years 00:01:55
okay as you can see they can vary they can be different from each other but 00:02:00
they still have all the information that is needed okay this project will be 00:02:07
qualified as well as part of the class project so be careful and try to do it 00:02:13
as good as possible also remember that this part of animals will be in the exam 00:02:18
that we have to do so again be careful with all the materials be careful with 00:02:24
all the information that you put inside okay 00:02:30
I like to go down here when I was instructions what do you have to do with 00:02:35
your cardboard okay take a ruler measure it and mark the middle of the cardboard 00:02:43
okay both up and down okay and when you have marked it just take one of the 00:02:50
borders unfold it in a way that matches the two marks that you have made then 00:02:57
take the other border unfold it in a way that you match with the other border 00:03:03
that you have already folded basically you need to make a windows like those 00:03:12
what we make in class for the notebooks okay that would be the first thing and 00:03:17
that when the lab book is closed you will need to add the title animals okay 00:03:22
as you can see by the pictures you have to do it on the upper part of the 00:03:29
laptop because the lower part we are going to use it for something else so 00:03:35
just be careful do it in whatever writing you want whatever colors you 00:03:40
want to add but basically do it in a way that we can see easily the title 00:03:45
