3, 2, 1, video. We are going to talk about invertebrates, about arthropods, of two types, crustaceans and arachnids. 00:00:00
They are oviparous, that means that they reproduce by eggs. 00:00:16
The diet of the crustaceans is omnivorous, that means that they eat all types of food, like us. 00:00:20
And the diet of the arachnids is carnivorous, that eat meat. 00:00:26
The characteristics. 00:00:31
The arachnid's characteristics is that it has leaky antennas and wings. 00:00:32
Be equipped with four pairs of legs and have the body divided into the thorax and abdomen. 00:00:38
The characteristics of crustaceans eat that they are aquatic and inhabit all deep and in different environments. 00:00:45
There are two examples, so the first one is an example about their production and metamorphosis. 00:00:56
So first it starts out as an egg, which has been laid by a butterfly. 00:01:05
Then they hatch from the eggs and transform into caterpillars or larvae, 00:01:12
which then grows and eats to, 00:01:20
it grows and molds its exoskeleton 00:01:26
until it becomes a pupa. 00:01:28
The pupa then undergoes a profound transformation 00:01:32
and becomes an adult butterfly, which is this one. 00:01:35
And then the process goes all over again 00:01:40
until the butterfly is laying new eggs. 00:01:43
Another example is an example about arachnids and here in this whole part is the cephalotorax. 00:01:46
These two are the tselicerae and on this part it's the abdomen of the spider. 00:01:58
The conclusion of this video is that we are talking about arthropods, which have lots 00:02:09
of types, but there are two, which are crustaceans and arachnids, which are the ones we're talking 00:02:16
about, that their diet is both omnivores and carnivores, and they have very different 00:02:23
characteristics. And this video is made by Lucia, Claudia, and Pablo, and Lucia. 00:02:29
