- The aim of the project it is to connect students life with art, try to raise awareness about the role of art and artists in our society. Students will research about how to run a gallery as curators of exhibitions choosing possible Art History periods, art techniques or media.
Students’ proposals will be the base of the opening day for the School Art Gallery. This event will have place at the end of the term. Students will invite the whole community to come to the gallery. They will have the opportunity to became real guides and talk about the art displayed, its style and the elements and materials used. People coming will have the opportunity to rate the art pieces according to the feelings that this art transmit to them. To engage the use of English by our students we will invite some native english speakers who are living in Spain to come to visit our art gallery so students will be using their second languages in a very communicative way.
