Hello, chicos! Today, we're going to learn about how to tell the time. 00:00:00
This is a clock. It has the numbers 1 to 12 on it. 00:00:06
It also has two arrows, or hands. 00:00:13
The shorthand tells the hour, while the longhand tells the minutes. 00:00:19
The hours are read as the numbers. 00:00:27
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 00:00:32
while the minutes are read as multiples of 5, 5, 10, quarter, 20, and 25. 00:00:52
12 is read as o'clock while 6 is read as half past. 00:01:11
From 12 to 6, you read the time as past 00:01:20
5 past 00:01:27
10 past 00:01:29
Quarter past 00:01:32
20 past 00:01:35
25 past 00:01:38
From 6 to 12, it's read as two 00:01:41
Twenty-five two 00:01:47
Twenty-two 00:01:51
Quarter two 00:01:54
Ten two 00:01:57
And five two 00:02:01
