Ships were better than before, and maps were very important in this age of discovery. 00:00:40
The early modern age of Spain started in 1942 with the exploration of the world. 00:00:46

Christopher Columbus is an Italian explorer. 00:01:01
In 1485, he moved to Spain. 00:01:05
Christopher Columbus arrived to the American continent in 1492. 00:01:09
The Catholic Queen and King of Spain gave him the money for the trip. 00:01:17
The real purpose of his trip is to find a route to India, but he stayed in the America. 00:01:23
