One. This is what scientists think a prehistoric woman and man look like. Humans have evolved 00:00:22
and changed since they first appeared about 2.5 million years ago. 00:00:29
Two, many people in early prehistory lived in caves. 00:00:35
They moved from one place to another looking for food. 00:00:39
Later on, they stopped moving and lived in villages. 00:00:43
Three, prehistoric people did paintings on the walls of caves. 00:00:47
We can still see some of these cave paintings today. 00:00:52
They show us how people lived. 00:00:55
4. They made spears from stone and bones to hunt with 00:00:57
They also made other tools to skin animals and sew the skins to make clothes 00:01:04
5. Later on in prehistory, people made baskets and ceramic pots to store food in and for cooking 00:01:10

6. Near the end of prehistory, people discovered how to make objects from metal. 00:01:21
