Consumption and production happen all over the planet and depend a lot on natural resources. 00:00:14

Today, production and consumption have destructive effects on the planet. 00:00:25
which is why it's so important to promote sustainable production 00:00:33
and responsible consumption by everyone. 00:00:37
There has been a lot of economic and social progress over the last 100 years, 00:00:41
but it has damaged the environment and endangered the natural resources that we need to survive. 00:00:47
For this reason, the United Nations has set environmentally responsible production 00:00:53
and consumption as a key sustainable development objective. 00:00:59
Let's take a look at some data to understand what is happening. 00:01:04
If we continue to consume at the current uncontrolled rate, 00:01:09
