The CANSAT competition has two main challenges, the primary mission and the secondary mission.

The team must build a CANSAT and program it to accomplish the following compulsory primary mission.

After release and during descent, the consort must measure air pressure and air temperature and transmit the data as telemetry to the ground station at least once every second.

A very popular alternative to the temperature and pressure sensors is BMP280, which is a digital pressure sensor.

It combines a pressure and temperature sensor into one unit, making it an ideal solution for the cancer's primary mission.
