Art that is abstract doesn't show recognisable things such as people, objects or landscapes. 00:00:00
Instead, artists used colors, shapes, and textures to achieve their effect. 00:00:27
As well as abstract art, Piet Mondián was also passionate about dancing. 00:00:34
Apparently, he didn't like slow traditional dancing like waltzes or tango, but he enjoyed 00:00:48

He also bought one of his paintings, Broadway Boogie Googie, after a popular dance all the time. 00:00:58
When Mondrian made his paintings, he would always mix his own colors, 00:01:13
