we have joined to the ECF4Clean project, European Competence Framework for a Low Carbon Economy 00:00:20
and Sustainability through Education. 00:00:27
As part of this project, various initiatives were proposed for the developer, and we would 00:00:30
like to share one of them with you in this video, the planting of native trees, like 00:00:35
Terra joined the planting. 00:00:41
What is Life Terra? 00:00:42
It is another European project that aims 00:00:44
to plant 500 million trees all over Europe. 00:00:47
We were very lucky. 00:00:52
The trees were provided by the ARBA Association 00:00:53
and they invited us to visit El Naso. 00:00:57
What is ARBA? 00:01:00
It is an association for the recovery of native forests 00:01:02
made up of volunteers from different professions 00:01:06

From 4th, 5th and 6th grade have participated in this project, 225 students in total have 00:01:15
planted 11 native trees and strawberries such as apple tree, walnut tree, almond tree, maple, 00:01:24
ash tree, rosemary, lavender and strawberry tree, which are the best adapted to the local 00:01:32
climate conditions very high temperatures in summer and frost in winter we prepared the 00:01:40

We would like many more children to be able to enjoy an experience like this and thus 00:02:35
raise awareness about the importance of reducing CO2 and contributing to slowing down climate 00:02:40
change through small actions. 00:02:46
