How to make a ball.

Hello and welcome. Today we're going to make a ball for the game bottle ball.

What you're going to need is you're going to need some balloons with the tops cut off

and then you're also going to need some scissors and some old newspaper.

To make the ball you will need three layers of newspaper

but you need to make sure that you squeeze them really tight

or else they will not fit into the balloon.

So after you have put the first roll of newspaper, you put the second over the top.

Again, making sure it's very, very tight.

And then finally, the third and final layer.

Again, squishing and pressing down as much as possible

so that your ball is nice and compact.

Now the next part can be tricky.

It is recommended that you stretch the balloon first

so that you can wrap the balloon around the newspaper.

If the balloon is too small, then you might find that your balloon will snap

while you're trying to stretch it over.

So stretch the balloon first to warm it up

and then you can wrap the balloon round like a glove.

Next you have the second balloon.

Making sure that you've stretched it first or else it's going to break.

And then you can start to feel how the ball will be at the end.

And finally, you have your final balloon.

Okay, so make sure that you choose the colour that you want your ball to be

as this will be on the outside of the ball.

Make sure that you trim off any excess balloon at the top.

But only do this at the end.

You do not want to cut too much of the balloon off.

But here, it gives you two different colours on your ball.

If you cannot make a ball, then you can use or substitute it with a normal PE ball.
