Most of you guys may know that my name is Daniela, but you probably don't know anything about where I'm from.

I'm from the United States, but more specifically, I'm from New York State.

My town is located in New York and its name is Monroe.

In order to get an idea of where I live, New York is about the same as Spain to you guys.

Orange County is the same as Madrid, and Monroe is the same as Santo Domingo.

Even though Spain is a country, New York is almost as big as it.

When I tell people that I'm from New York, they automatically think that I'm from New York City.

However, by car, I live about 82 kilometers from New York City,

which is about approximately one hour if there isn't any traffic but there's

always traffic therefore it is quicker to take the train into the city. Here are

some pictures of where I'm from. The top picture of the pond is technically the

center of the town and the bottom picture is the village and town hall

also located in the center of my town. There isn't much to do where I'm from

but we do have things that any other village would have. For example, we have

supermarkets, stores, shops, and restaurants. My hometown is known for

three things. The first being Velveeta cheese. Velveeta is a type of American

cheese that was created in Monroe, New York in the year 1918. It is quite

popular in the United States because it is the main ingredient used to make macaroni and cheese.

The second and third thing that my hometown is known for is my high school and the Woodbury

Commons. From a distance, my high school is said to look like a prison because of its physical

appearance. About a year ago, my school was used as a location to film a Netflix original television

show. The show is called the OA and it's a science fiction drama. It's about a

girl who went missing and then was found years later on. If you see the show

you'll see some classrooms, the hallways, and the surrounding town of where I'm

from. And last but not least the Woodbury Commons. The Woodbury Commons is a huge

outdoor shopping outlet mall. People from all over the world come here to shop.

They have stores like Polo Ralph Lauren, Prada, and even Saks Fifth Avenue. Now
