Hello, my name is Julia and I'm 14 years old. Currently, I am in the third year of secondary 00:00:00
school, which is what we call third of ESO. I live with my family, my mother, my father, 00:00:07
and my older brother David. We live in a flat in Pinto, nearby my high school. Pinto is a small 00:00:15
city in Madrid, which is said to be the center of the Iberian Peninsula. We are around 50,000 people 00:00:22
living here. Some of the interesting places to visit are La Torre de Eboli, which is a tower in 00:00:28
which Eboli Princess was locked down and has given the name to our shopping mall de Eboli, 00:00:35
Parque Juan Carlos I, which is a park with a lot of activities you can do, among other interesting 00:00:41
things. Our high school is next to this park. Even sometimes we go there during our PE lessons. 00:00:46
In Picasso High School, we have three football fields, some basketball courts, and some other volleyball courts. 00:00:54
Also, a vegetable garden and a porch for rainy days. 00:01:02
Talking about the inside, we have three floors, and as you enter, you can see the hall with some corridors, 00:01:06
which can lead you to classes, computer rooms, workshops. 00:01:13
We spend about six hours in high school learning about different subjects. 00:01:18
My favorite subject is physical education because I like doing sports. 00:01:22
My favorite sport is dancing, even though I also like football, basketball or any kind of sport. 00:01:27
My teacher is called Jorge and he helps us every time he can. 00:01:34
In this year we have done basketball, badminton and in this term we are going to do some sports that are not so known, such as cold ball. 00:01:39
but before going to my high school I wake up at 10 to 8 as it starts at 8 30 then I have breakfast 00:01:50
I take a sour and I brush my teeth after high school I eat my meal my favorite Spanish meal 00:01:58
are croquettes which are a cylindrical breaded food with bechamel inside and in between the 00:02:05
you can have a squid a jam or anything like that to give more flavor usually between 2 30 and 4 pm 00:02:13
and then i have some time to do whatever i need or i want sometimes i do homework and i help my 00:02:24
my parents with a home task but other times i go out with my friends or simply i i am here 00:02:32
at my house. Then at 8.15 I have my dancing lessons so I go there I spend an hour and a half 00:02:41
until 15 to 10 even though sometimes we are there until 10 p.m. When I get back home I have dinner 00:02:51
and I usually watch a movie or read a book before going to sleep. About Hollywood I think it is a 00:03:02
big city with big buildings and a lot of people and when the night comes it is very colorful 00:03:11
because the lights on the main streets. Even though it is famous because of the white letters 00:03:18
on the mountains and because of the movies I think there could be some other interesting places 00:03:24
to know about Hollywood. I want to say thank you to our teacher because of letting us have this 00:03:31
opportunity of learning more about Hollywood, improving our English level and knowing more 00:03:38
