Hi everyone, we are Hallie, Chloe and Charlotte.
00:00:04
Today we are going to talk about a prehistory monument called Cagliari's Stones.
00:00:07
We are going to talk about many interesting facts about this incredible monument.
00:00:12
Chloe and Hallie, do you know some important information?
00:00:17
Yes, I know that they are in Iceland of Lewis, Scotland.
00:00:20
And I know that they were used for ritual activities at the site for an estimated 2,000 years.
00:00:24
Oh, they are fantastic, but yesterday I read this one, in the center of the monument is a stone that weighs 10 and 13 tons and measures 480 meters tall and the other stone measures 4 meters tall.
00:00:31
And I remember this other, an 83 meters long avenge to the north formed by two lines of stones narrow as they approach the circle.
00:00:48
I saw in a TV program that nobody created this monument. The nature created it and the Neolithic people erected the stones about 5,000 years ago.
00:00:57
And I know that it is a circle of 13 rocks made of Chinese rock. Did you know that in the 17th century the people of Lewisburg called the stones firebricks, translated false man?
00:01:09
I remember another one. There is a timber tomb about 640 meters long which is located between the central and the eastern monolith.
00:01:25
I remember there are five rows of standing stone connecting to this circle and two long rows of stone running parallel each other.
00:01:36
It is located in the northeast forming a kind of a bed.
00:01:48
And I know the last. At first there was a timber structure.
00:01:54
Then later a timber stone was erected inside the stone so it could house the dead.
00:02:02
We hope you learned a lot of things like they are in Scotland and they do ritual activity there.
00:02:10
Thanks for listening to this podcast. We will see you in the next episode.
00:02:17
