Students of English Extension class have prepared a speech of their own choice. They have written and presented it to all their classmates.
Hello to everyone, I'm going to talk about fighting for your dreams.
00:00:00
When we were little we always said, I want to be a doctor, an astronaut or a vet maybe.
00:00:04
But now, after a few years, what happened to those dreams?
00:00:10
Are we dreaming or do we think that it's just for our kids?
00:00:13
Dreams have nothing to do with age.
00:00:16
Dreaming gives you hope, it makes you believe in yourself and in your abilities.
00:00:19
It makes you know that never is too late to fight for what you left behind.
00:00:23
it's okay if your childhood dreams have changed but what really matters is to take decisions
00:00:28
for your dreams to become reality so you could fight for your dreams if you first have them
00:00:33
it's really important that you spend time with yourself knowing yourself knowing who you are
00:00:39
and what you want you have to answer these questions who are you where do you come from
00:00:45
Where are you going with your life? What do you expect from life? Will you be
00:00:52
failure or will you be a success? I invite you to think about it a moment. Do you
00:00:57
really know yourself? Do you know for sure how will you see yourself in 10
00:01:03
years? When you know who you are then you will be willing to fight. Many people
00:01:08
don't fight for fear, whether fear of failure or fear of success, but you have to
00:01:14
know that in your fight you will meet many disappointments but you are the one
00:01:19
who decides to take the risk to go ahead and turn those disappointments in
00:01:26
learning for achieving your goals when you arrive to difficult moments you must
00:01:31
remember two things the first is that those difficult moments don't last
00:01:36
forever they are just so they are just lesson to learn and the second thing is
00:01:40
that you have to keep fighting and training but for yourself and not but are not for others or
00:01:46
their opinions about you you only need faith passion and give everything to you so so that
00:01:53
your dreams may be done also you will find people who discourage you or who support you
00:02:00
join those people who also are fading for their dreams they will help you to progress
00:02:07
Those who don't support you aren't important to you, your dreams should never be conditioned
00:02:13
by others' opinions, even when everyone thinks that it's impossible, you have to know within
00:02:20
yourself that it's possible, remember, you do it for yourself and you can do it.
00:02:26
You don't become a real failure until you take the first step to trying.
00:02:33
know about just dreaming for talking about your dreams but you are going to take steps
00:02:38
about that bring you closer to achieve them you shouldn't let anyone steal your dreams
00:02:45
believe in yourself know that you fight for something
00:02:53
worthwhile so i invite you to fight for your dreams and remember the struggle doesn't end
00:03:00
until you are the winners thanks for listening
