This one is represented by one or two letters. 00:00:22
Oxygen with letter O, hydrogen with letter H, carbon with letter C, gold with letters 00:00:26

What do we have when different atoms join together? 00:00:39
We have a molecule. 00:00:42
A molecule is made when two or more different atoms join together. 00:00:44
For example, two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom join together to make an H2O molecule, 00:00:50

All these molecules together make substances. 00:01:01
When all the molecules are the same, it is called pure substance. 00:01:05
We have two types of pure substances. 00:01:12
We have elements that are made from one type of atom and compounds that are made from one 00:01:14

On the other hand, we have the water, that it is a compound, why? 00:01:32
