First of all, I would like to thank the Consejería de Educación for the opportunity to be here.

And also Marta, Elena, Jaime and Katie, the teachers and assistants, as well as Cervantes, who helped me get here.

I would like to extend this gratitude to all the teachers and language assistants who strive to implement this programme in Comunidad de Bambu.

Also, I would like to thank my friends and family for their support, and of course my partner, Pristán.

I couldn't be more grateful that we have experienced this together.

Last year, when I was told about Global Classroom for the first time, I told myself that the hours I spent watching the news would finally pay off.

I could never imagine how important this program would become to me, and how much it would change my life.

It started just as a period for class, the most interesting one I had in a long time, but nothing serious.

But suddenly, I was thinking, right where you are now, saying to myself, you got this.

I remember that before every conference, I will repeat this phrase to myself, you got this.

I would like you to apply this to yourselves, not only in this program, but in your daily lives.

Whenever you have an objective, you can remember this experience as an example of what can be achieved with enough effort and enthusiasm.

And just go for it, because that's how the world comes to change.

The conference this year was an amazing experience.

Even though it was different from the ones here, I was inspired by the atmosphere and the dedication of my fellow delegates.

I felt at least a sense of belonging and international community,

and finally understood what it means to not only be a Spanish citizen, but a global one.

Along with the students from all over the world, we were able to set aside our differences

and collaborate to create a purposeful and actionable resolution.

The final words this resolution passes has been a constant reminder of the values this program taught me.

However, I would like you to bear in mind, New Year is not the price.

It is the end of an amazing journey full of rewards.

The real prizes are the values, the lessons that you have learned.

It is the confidence you have gained, the improvement in your writing and researching skills, the ability to improvise and to speak in public.

Always remember, if you work hard and to explore with empathy and diplomacy, you can do anything.

Global Classroom has given me a sense of initiative and autonomy I did not have before.

I now know that there are many different ways to reach our goals.

If there is a will, there is a way.

And I now know, thanks to this program, that I have the ability to find my way.

Whether it be in international playgroups field, diplomacy, or hopefully into the international baccalaureate program next year.

Just as I have these confidence in myself, you should all have the same.

Because if you are here, it's for a reason, and you all have worked extremely hard.

So if you put this effort in all the problems that came across in your life, you can become unstoppable.
