The lion is a wild animal known as the king of the jungle. 00:00:04
It lives in Africa, in plains where there are buses, and in Asia, inside the jungle. 00:00:09
It's a nocturnal animal, during the day it rests, but it's also active. 00:00:14
It can climb trees, it can go in herd, with a partner or alone. 00:00:21
Males are larger than females, but the females usually go hunting instead of males. 00:00:27
It can run at 58 km per hour when they are hunting. 00:00:34
It normally eats large mammals, but it can eat some little birds and reptiles too. 00:00:40
The calves eat meat when they are 3 months old, and before that they just suck mother's milk. 00:00:47
Females usually give birth once every two years 00:00:54
