This learning situation is developed in five sessions following the project-based learning methodology. 00:00:00
In the first two sessions, students read about a museum or re-art objects and learn expressions and vocabulary. 00:00:05
This task is aimed at a group of 29 students in the second year of ESO with very different levels of proficiency in English. 00:00:11
The task is part of Unit 2, in which they learn to describe objects with the present simple. 00:00:18
Its main aim is to invent an object, describe it and explain its purpose. 00:00:23
The works will be presented in front of the class and will become part of a virtual museum 00:00:27
of invented objects. This is something they are used to doing in games such as Minecraft. 00:00:32
Although this should be carried out using infographics, students with difficulties 00:00:38
can present their work in cardboard format. They can work alone or in pairs. Assessment 00:00:42
will be done in sessions 2, 3 and 4 with a teacher rubric and a student survey. 00:00:48
