Hi teacher, today I'm going to talk about Julianne Kopkana and her amazing survival story.

She was on a plane on 24th December 1971 with her mother.

She was 17 years old and they were going to visit her father for Christmas in the city of Pucallpa.

But the plane crashed due to strong turbulence caused by a storm.

Julian flew out of the plane in her seat and she wake up the next morning in the middle of the jungle.

She survived the fall surprisingly with minor injuries.

She didn't know it but it was more like 600 km from any inhabited place.

So she start a 10 days walk following the course of a river

and with the fear that a wild animal would appear.

After a long time, she found some hunters that took her to their village

and finally she was reunited with her father in the city of Pucallpa.

Then, the researchers found that 30 other people had survival form

but all died in the jungle, so Julian Kopech was the only survivor.
