Talk about forests. A forest is an area with a lot of trees. 00:00:09
There are forests all over the world. There are different types of forests. 00:00:39
Equal forests vary depending on the location of the forest. 00:00:45
For example, there are tropical rainforests, coniferous forests, and deciduous forests. 00:01:07
These can occur naturally, but they can be affected positively and negatively by human behavior. 00:01:14
If a forest is carefully replanted and allowed to grow, it can exist in balance. 00:01:49
However, if the forest is cut down faster than it can grow back, then it will be used up quickly. 00:02:02
Forests serve as home to many of the organisms that live on the land. 00:02:49
Forests are also very important because they are major contributors 00:03:02
to recycling and cleaning the world's supply of oxygen. 00:03:06
Forests, jungles, trees, plants produce the oxygen we breathe. 00:03:11
They are the lungs of the earth. We destroy them, we destroy ourselves. 00:03:18
