Remember that in the end, all this work is for you guys to be prepared for the mock conference. 00:00:11
Mock just means not real or fake. 00:00:16
This is where you'll come to school with your classmates, you'll represent your country, 00:00:18
you'll debate the topic, and hopefully come to a resolution on how to make a change in the world. 00:00:22
This part is mandatory, meaning everybody has to do it. 00:00:28
However, 10 people who want to continue doing global classrooms will be chosen to go to the real conference. 00:00:32
This is where you will compete against other schools doing the same thing you practice in your mock conference. 00:00:37
You will give an opening speech, you will debate, you will listen, and you will hopefully come to a resolution. 00:00:43
You even have the chance to get some awards, to keep on competing, and some have the chance to go to New York. 00:00:50
A lot of things were fun. We did some games. The judges were very nice always. 00:01:01
I met a lot of people from different high schools because I did something that I had 00:01:06
never done and also it was good to see that like the level of other people and how they 00:01:13
were also interested in what were you doing yes I think it was something like very special 00:01:20
yes don't be nervous do not be any nervous don't be nervous everyone is also nervous 00:01:31
and no one's going to judge you in the end this is practice and we all make mistakes 00:01:38
