Today we want to tell you about our museum, Moku Museum. 00:00:10

This museum is a special art museum with modern and contemporary art. 00:00:16

We saw colorful nature and sometimes funny artworks. 00:00:23

Some arts made us think and some made us smile. 00:00:30

It was exciting because the arts was very different from what we usually see. 00:00:37

We also learned about Yayo Kusama. 00:00:46

She loves pancakes and dots. 00:00:50

Her art uses lots of repeating patterns and bright colors. 00:00:54

We made pumpkin drawings inspired by her artwork. 00:01:00

First, we drew a pumpkin shape. 00:01:06

Then we used markers and paint to add patterns like dots, lines and shapes. 00:01:11

We repeated the patterns again and again to look like a Kusama's style. 00:01:18

We used bright colors to make our pockets stand out. 00:01:27

One artist we learned about is Banksy. 00:01:32

Banksy makes street art using stencils. 00:01:37

A stencil is like a temple you put in on a paper or a wall and paint over it to make the shape. 00:01:41

We made our own stencil art too. 00:01:53

First we chose a simple design. 00:01:59

When we lifted up, wow, we had our own Banksy style artwork. 00:02:02

We also learned about an artist named James Michael Baskett. His art is bold, colorful, and full of symbols, words, and drawings. 00:02:11

He likes to mix many ideas together in one actual project. 00:02:26

We made our own basket inspired portrait. 00:02:34

Then we decorate it using a collage technique. 00:02:40

Collage means cutting and gluing different materials, like paper, colors, and shapes. 00:02:52

We added drawings, words, and bright colors around our faces. 00:03:03
