Being a Bilingual Coordinator. What is my course going to be about? As you can see 00:00:21
by its title it's about learning how to be a bilingual coordinator. So if you are 00:00:27
a bilingual coordinator or you're thinking about becoming one, whether it's 00:00:32
going to be in the future or next school year, this is a course just made for you. 00:00:37
What are we going to be looking at in this course? We're going to have five 00:00:42
different sessions which is going to be the first five days in July. The first 00:00:46
day we're basically going to be interacting and finding out what are the 00:00:51
main issues in terms of managing a bilingual program in our schools. On our 00:00:55
second day we're going to be talking about foreign language assistance. 00:01:01
That's a lot to talk about there, and I'm sure we can all help each other by listening to each other's experiences. 00:01:04
On our third day, we're going to be talking about how to motivate our students, our colleagues, our staff, and mostly our families in school. 00:01:11
On our fourth session, we're going to see how to help students, basically, who are kind of struggling with the bilingual subjects. 00:01:22
So how to help students with various abilities and needs. 00:01:29
Finally, session number five, the fifth and last session, will be about how to create 00:01:33
an action plan to help our bilingual schools improve. 00:01:39
