Today we want to tell you about our museum, MoCA Museum. 00:00:05

This museum is a special art museum with modern contemporary art. 00:00:13

Gorsumi created some funny artworks, some made of things and some made of smiles. 00:00:23

I was excited because the art was very different from what we usually see. 00:00:36

We also learned about an artist named Jean-Michel Basquiat. 00:00:47

His art is bold, colourful and full of symbols, words and drawings. 00:00:55

We like to mix many ideas together in one artwork. 00:01:03

We make our own Bastille, it's far portrayed. 00:01:10

First we use our own pictures. 00:01:16

Then we decorate it using a collage technique. 00:01:22

Collage means cutting and gluing different materials like paper, colors and shapes. 00:01:28

We added drawings, words and braids, colors around our faces. 00:01:39

We layered different pieces to make our art look busy and expensive, just like Basquiat's style. 00:01:47
