Good morning! I am going to show you a presentation of my school and the project Learning Together.

This project has given a boost of energy to the teachers in our school.

We are focused on learning innovative methodologies and improving our own.

In that sense, in our school we organize little job shadowing visits where we visit other teachers of the school to learn from each other.

In addition, we are eager to participate in new Erasmus Plus projects, e-training projects, formatting projects, etc.

The project Learning Together, accomplished by CEIP Las Cumbres, Mostales, Madrid, Spain,

gives importance to the learning environments, by trying to make our school a more beautiful

place with the help of all the school community, thanks to what we have learned and observed,

among other places, at our twin school in Blackpool.

Observation was the basis of the learning process carried out in the United Kingdom,

which help us to implement methodologies to boost bilingual education in a whole school

and specifically at the stage of pre-school and kindergarten.

Thanks to our project we have promoted two types of learning environments.

One, outdoor learning environments.

Two, indoor learning environments.

Outdoor learning environments which boost the learning process such as the school garden,

board games area and fun playgrounds.

indoor learning environments through the decoration of the music classroom, the school library,

the decoration of our classrooms, and the school entrance, so that they look attractive

and comfortable places for all the school community.

Learning environments are essential in any educational stage.

In preschool education and kindergarten, it is essential to organize the classroom around

learning corners and flexible spaces, which change according to the project in which they

Teachers work in a multidisciplinary way, starting from a learning interest area, which

comprehends the whole preschool and kindergarten stage.

Free projects are accomplished every school year, which are developed equally in Spanish

They pursue to foster experimentation, discovery, investigation, etc.

Therefore, the learning environments are transformed into the universe, a cinema, a circus, an art museum, a cave, depending on the theme they choose to do.

Other important learning environments we have promoted is the technological environments.

The school has several ICT classrooms, interactive whiteboards, and tablets to be used by students

directed by the teacher.

Finally, one of the main goals of the school is to develop inclusive environments and activities

that allow all of our students to learn according to their skills, characteristics, and needs.

In other words, our main objective is learning together.
