Malta is an archipelago located in the Mediterranean Sea. 00:00:16
It is approximately 93 km from Sicily, Italy. 00:00:23
It is in the center of southern Europe. 00:00:29
Each in the middle flows to the Nicaraguan Sea and this is the archipelago and the capital is Vallarta. 00:00:36
And here is Malta and it is near Sicily. 00:00:45
History. People have lived in Malta since at least 5200 BC. 00:00:53
The islets have some key archaeological locations dating from early times. 00:01:05
Malta became well known because of the kings of St. John's. 00:01:12
In 1798, Napoleon took control of Malta. 00:01:20
The British navy went to Malta and it became a British colony. 00:01:27
Malta became independent in 1964 and a republic in 1975. 00:01:33
In 2004 Malta joined the European Union. 00:01:43
This is an archaeological site of Malta. 00:01:52
These are Maltese festivals. Some of the most important festivals in Malta are the Carnival. The Carnival in Malta has been important for many centuries. 00:01:59
In the 20th week to Aswan's day they have mass, ball, night parties, etc. The 3rd of May. It is a holiday to commemorate the end of Maltese war and the independence day. 00:02:15
This day is celebrated to commemorate the Indians from Malta from UK in 21st September 1964. 00:02:35

Typical food. Timpano. It is a Maltese dish made up of macaroni with tomato sauce and raw egg. Flatbread. It is a Maltese simple bread made up of flour, water and salt. You can also add chili powder, curry powder or jalapenos. 00:03:02
Sausages. In Malta, it is very common to eat sausages. There are lots of different types. 00:03:26
