My name is Eva Garrido and I will explain the learning situation I've created. 00:00:00
So first of all, regarding the context, this learning situation takes place in the second 00:00:02
course of Secondary Education or ESO, where we find three students with an A2 level of 00:00:05
English and two ADHD students. 00:00:08
Now, as for the justification, this learning situation aims at developing listening, comprehension 00:00:10
and oral expression skills while practicing the past simple. 00:00:13
More specifically, it will allow our students to get to know their grandparents' lives 00:00:16
as the final product consists of creating a digital infographic about life in Spain 00:00:19
in the 1940s and 1950s and then recording a podcast explaining it. 00:00:23
They will have to do research on the topic in groups of three, which will be multilevel. 00:00:26
Now, as for the methodologies, we will employ active methodologies such as project-based learning, 00:00:30
as we will have a final product, cooperative learning, since each group member will have an assigned cooperative role, 00:00:34
and cooperative-based learning. 00:00:38
This learning situation is thought to take place in six sessions, as you can see here. 00:00:39
Now, in terms of accessibility, students will have dictionaries and tablets to do the project. 00:00:43
The timing will be variable according to individual needs. 00:00:47
The groups will be multilevel and cooperative. 00:00:49
The teacher will also facilitate access to ICT resources to those students who do not have them at home. 00:00:51
finally the assessment will be done through three rubrics one for the design of the infographic 00:00:55
another for the podcast in terms of the oral production skill and the third one 00:00:59
for the cooperation of each group member through co-evaluation 00:01:02
