This is an activity for a group of students of first year of compulsory secondary education that is ESO.

Students have to create a cardboard poster about Philippine festivities for the Cultural Week.

The activity will take four classes.

In the first class, students will have to make groups of three and each group will be given a month from the first half of the year.

Then, students will be given a tablet where they have to look for information about the

festivities which take place in the month they were given.

Next, they will have to choose 4 or 5 festivities to be included in their poster.

In the next two classes, students will be creating their posters, which must have a

title, several images and the information about the festivities they have chosen.

In the last class each group will present their poster and the presentations will be

assessed with a rubric.

Finally the class will vote for the best poster.
