We use how much with uncountable nouns. Remember, uncountable nouns are always singular. 00:00:17
For instance, we can say how much water is there in the jar or how much milk is there in the fridge. 00:00:28
On the other hand, how many is used with plural countable nouns. 00:00:39
Remember, only plural countable nouns. 00:00:47
For instance, we can say, how many yogurts are there in the fridge? 00:00:51
Or, how many bananas are there on the table? 00:00:59
