Hello, today we are going to talk about modal verbs. What are exactly our modal verbs?

Modal verbs are auxiliary verbs that are used together with another verb to express necessity,

ability, obligation, possibility. In this presentation we are going to talk about

These different models, those which express possibility, obligation, ability, permission, advice, or prohibition.

The general characteristics of a modal verb is that they agree with any subjects.

They do not have infinitive form or participle.

They are always followed by a bare infinitive without to.

to form questions. They use the inversions.

They change the position of the subject and the verb.

And we must take special attention
