This summer course is intended for primary teachers and its purpose is to use artistic

representations and artifacts into the classroom. The course will explore how to integrate them

with the various inquiry-based teaching strategies and curriculum content development. It will provide

regionally based ideas for in-gallery museum education and in-class teaching.

The laid-out of the course will include daily museum visits and daily seminars

meaningful object-based learning activities and peer-to-peer discussions

will take place. It will encourage critical thinking to connect skills

across a wide variety of curricula. During the daily visits museums will

become the place that contains the answers to a set of proposed clues. The aim is

to use the museum as exploration field on a given topic. The museum then will
