INGLÉS
So this is my recipe for fruit crumble, a healthier version.
00:00:00
This was one of my favourite desserts that my mum used to make when I was a little girl.
00:00:05
This version uses oats and a crunchy cereal to make the crumble topping, so it is a little healthier.
00:00:11
I have underlined the words that you might need to look up in a dictionary.
00:00:20
These are the ingredients for four people.
00:00:26
The one in the photographs is just for two people.
00:00:28
Four green apples, 250g of blackberries, raspberries or strawberries and a spoon of sugar.
00:00:34
For the crumble topping you will need 100g of crunchy cereal, 50g of oats, 50g of butter
00:00:46
and 4 spoonfuls of honey.
00:00:55
So how do we make it?
00:00:58
First peel the apples and cut them into small pieces.
00:01:01
You want them all more or less the same size.
00:01:07
Then you're going to put the apples into a pan with four spoonfuls of water and a spoonful
00:01:12
of sugar.
00:01:19
The size of spoon you need is a dessert spoon, not a teaspoon.
00:01:22
So you then get a lid and you put the lid on the pan and you're going to cook the apples
00:01:28
for about three minutes on a medium heat, about five or six.
00:01:36
Then take off the lid and add the blackberries.
00:01:44
Return the pan to the heat without the lid this time for another two minutes.
00:01:49
again slowly on a medium heat. When the fruit is softened, put it into an oven-proof dish.
00:01:58
Try not to let too much liquid get into the dish, otherwise your crumble will be a little
00:02:07
bit too wet. Now, melt the butter and the honey over a
00:02:14
low heat about a number four or a five should be fine. When it's melted add the oats and the cereal.
00:02:21
You're going to mix all this together so you get a lovely crunchy sweet topping.
00:02:32
Give it a good stir so everything is combined. Then you're going to place the crumble mixture
00:02:40
on top of the fruit and spread it out evenly. See how it's covering all the
00:02:47
layer of fruit. Put in the oven and cook for about 10 minutes until the topping
00:02:55
is golden brown and crunchy. Finally leave to cool slightly for about 10
00:03:01
minutes and serve on its own with ice cream and enjoy.
