recognize many of the kids and I'm very excited for a new year. I majored in international 00:00:19
relations when I was in college, and it's always been my dream to study, live, and teach 00:00:25
abroad. So I'm very excited for the opportunity to be here for a second year. 00:00:31
A fun fact about me is that I have been playing piano for 18 years and I'm 00:00:35
currently teaching myself how to play the guitar. I am very much looking 00:00:40

Hi, my name is Gillian Xu. I'm 22 years old and I'm originally from Atlanta, 00:00:50
Georgia. I just recently graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York 00:00:56
City with a major in design and management and a minor in graphic design. So I'm very passionate 00:01:00
about all things art and design related, but I'm also very passionate about working with children. 00:01:07
I used to work in a gym when I was 16 and 17 and ran children's birthday parties for kids ages 00:01:14
six to nine. And I also worked for a year in a studio in New York City where I taught acting, 00:01:21
dance and art classes for kids ages three to six. I've also nannied in the city for the past 00:01:29
two years so I'm super excited to get started with my teaching adventure in Madrid. I love to travel 00:01:36
