Let's dissect a sheep heart. The materials that we are going to use are a scapegoat, tweezers, scissors and colored straws. 00:00:00
First, we are going to identify the blood vessels. To do this, we look at the top of the heart. 00:00:09
The yellow straw is the outer artery, the orange the pulmonary artery, the pink the vena cava and the green one the pulmonary vein. 00:00:17
We can see that the arteries have thick and large walls, while the veins have thinner and smaller walls. 00:00:27
The heart has a flatter inside and a more convex side. 00:00:47
To locate the right and left sides of the heart, we cut on the convex part 1 cm from the line. 00:00:53

That's the left ventricle and behind the bulbs is the left atrium. 00:01:17
