This activity is called Time to Hit the Road because my students will become travel agents for the time being 00:00:01
and they will be organising a trip to New Orleans, taking into consideration all the previous knowledge they've learned during the lesson. 00:00:08
It is a group of 24 students. They are in the third course of compulsory education and I am teaching them the subject of English in the bilingual programme. 00:00:18
I have different learning rhythms and students coming from different cultural backgrounds and I also have a special needs student and in order to proceed with this activity or the settings will be done for her in the computer so she can see and read accurately so the font will appear in a bigger font in her computer. 00:00:31
and she will also be seated up front so she doesn't miss out on any details. 00:01:01
Among the objectives, I want them to understand essential and specific information on webpages 00:01:10
that they will use to create the final product. 00:01:17
I also want them to use verb tenses in future forms 00:01:22
and they will have to produce an infographic which includes information for the travel plan 00:01:27
they have designed. I include different methodology, for example project-based learning, 00:01:34
mediation activities, universal design for learning. So finally what they have to do 00:01:45
It shows the necessary knowledge they have acquired on future vacations by planning a trip to New Orleans and displayed on an infographic. 00:01:53
I will follow a marking rubric as a tool to mark the different assessment criteria. 00:02:05
So it is from 0 to 10 and I also include all the assessment criteria determined by law. 00:02:15
