This task will consist of an oral presentation about a local attraction of our town. Some active methodologies will be used, such as flipped classroom and problem-based learning.
The adaptations and accessibility to those students with special needs is also specified.

This problem-based learning situation is addressed to a third of CSE program students 00:00:00

and in whose group there are newcomers who don't know the area and want to learn about the local activities. 00:00:06

For that purpose, an oral presentation about one of them will be done. 00:00:13

In order to elaborate it, in groups of five, they will watch a video on the cultural attractions of the town and brainstorm some ideas. 00:00:18

They will choose one of them randomly, and they will search for details like timetables or who could be interested in the activity. 00:00:26

In order to elaborate the presentation, they will first create a poster using the program Canva, attaching links or photographs, 00:00:35

and they will eventually make a 10-minute oral presentation in groups or in front of their classmates. 00:00:44

They will assess them and vote for their favorite one. 00:00:52

Our students with special needs will get their sentences simplified and they will have pictograms at their disposal, 00:00:56

like our student with Asperger's syndrome. 00:01:06

In order to assess the task, our representation and reading prediction rubrics will be used, 00:01:09

as well as peer and self-assessment templates to eventually evaluate the students using a portfolio of newly learned terms. 00:01:14
