Good morning! This is a video in which we are going to learn about hearing, right? 00:00:00
So, what are the organs of hearing? 00:00:05
Obviously, the organs of hearing are the ears, right? 00:00:09
Our ears are divided into three parts. 00:00:15
The outer ear, the middle ear, and the inner ear. 00:00:19
But, do you know what earwax is? 00:00:24
Earwax is a sticky substance that protects our ears 00:00:27
Because our ears are really, really, really delicate, right? 00:00:33
And earwax protects them from dust and infections 00:00:38
So let's go and read our book 00:00:41
And we will learn more about hearing and our ears 00:00:44
Read with me, please 00:00:48
Ears 00:00:49
Your ears are the organs of hearing 00:00:50
And the ear has three parts that you know 00:00:53
The outer ear, the middle ear, and the inner ear. 00:00:56
And as you know, already know, ears are really delicate. 00:01:02
Earwax is a sticky substance that protects our ears from dust and infections. 00:01:08
So can you repeat with me the three parts of our ears? 00:01:14
Outer ear, middle ear, and inner ear, right? 00:01:18
Where is earwax? 00:01:23
It's inside your ear canal, right? 00:01:26
Can you see here the canal? 00:01:31
So the earwax is on there. 00:01:33
And the eardrum, what's that? 00:01:36
Where do we have our eardrum? 00:01:39
We need to know about it because we already have learned the different parts that our ears have, 00:01:42
which are the outer ear, very good, the middle ear and the inner ear. 00:01:48
But we need to know how do we hear things. 00:01:57
How do we hear things? 00:02:03
Right. 00:02:04
The first step is when the sound waves enter through the outer ear, right? 00:02:05
And that waves hit the eardrum and it vibrates, right? 00:02:14
The vibration makes the liquid that we have in the inner ear to move 00:02:22
and it sends signals to the brain, to our brain. 00:02:28
Our brain reads these signals and tells you what you are hearing. 00:02:34
We're going to have a look on this picture that we have on the book. 00:02:42
So the first step is when the sound waves enter through the outer ear, right? 00:02:47
And they travel through the canal and they hit the eardrum, our nostro tympanum, right? 00:02:57
They hit the eardrum, right? 00:03:05
And it sends signals to the brain, to our brain. 00:03:08
And our brain, which is really, really clear, reads the signals and tells us what we are hearing. 00:03:17
It's quite interesting, isn't it? 00:03:26
So, now we are going to see some exercises to practice about it 00:03:29
What I want you to do is first, you have to draw our ear and the different parts 00:03:36
The outer ear, the middle ear and the inner ear with a canal and the eardrum, right? 00:03:43
Second, what you are going to do is you are going to read the book again, right? 00:03:49
and we are going to do exercises one for instance once look around which objects 00:03:56
make sounds let's gonna do it all together which objects make sounds right 00:04:04
look I have here my mobile phone and my mobile phone make sounds because when 00:04:10
someone calls me it's gonna make a sound right what else can you please tell me 00:04:18
which objects make sounds around you, right? 00:04:24
I just need three objects, right? 00:04:28
And you don't have to copy the exercise. 00:04:30
You just have to write one page 13, right? 00:04:35
And answer the question. 00:04:39
Second, which organ reads signals from your eyes and ears? 00:04:42
It's an organ that is really, really, really clever. 00:04:48
And it's really important. 00:04:51
I can give you more clues. 00:04:52
right so you are going to do the exercise one the exercise two right and the exercise three 00:04:54
how do sound waves travel order the words and i'm gonna give you another clue right 00:05:02
if you come here and read it again or you're listening again to my video you will find that 00:05:09
there are some words that are gonna give you the key, right? Perfect! So that's all related to 00:05:16
hearing. We will see some videos related to the other senses that we have to learn and other parts 00:05:26
of our body, right? But this is all for the moment and I will send you more videos. Bye bye! Take care! 00:05:34
