Hello, everybody. How are you? I miss you. I hope you're okay. And I hope that you stay home and you stay safe. I'm okay. And as you can see, I'm at home. But I miss you. And I was thinking that maybe I could read you a book.
00:00:03
Let's see. This is my favorite book and it's called Lost and Found. And it goes like this. Once there was a boy and one day he found a penguin at his door. Here, this is a boy and here's the penguin.
00:00:27
The boy didn't know where it had come from, but it began to follow him everywhere.
00:00:52
The penguin looked sad, and the boy thought that it must be lost.
00:01:04
So the boy decided to help the penguin find his way home.
00:01:14
He checked in the lost and found office, but no one was missing a penguin.
00:01:21
Then he asked some birds if they knew where the penguin came from, but they ignored him.
00:01:27
Some birds are like that.
00:01:37
The boy asked his duck, but the duck floated away.
00:01:41
He didn't know.
00:01:48
That night, the boy couldn't sleep for disappointment.
00:01:50
He wanted to help the penguin, but he didn't know how.
00:01:54
The next morning he discovered that the penguins come from the South Pole.
00:02:03
But how could he get there? He ran down to the harbour and asked a big ship
00:02:12
to take them to the South Pole. But his voice was much too small to be heard over the big ship's horn.
00:02:21
So together he and the penguin would row to the South Pole.
00:02:29
The boy took his boat out of the cupboard and they tested it for size and for strength.
00:02:37
They packed everything they would need into their suitcases and together they pushed the boat out to the sea.
00:02:47
They rode for many days and for many nights, with the boy telling the penguin stories all the way.
00:02:57
The penguin listened to everything that the boy said. They floated through good weather and bad,
00:03:07
when the waves were as big as mountains, until they came to the South Pole.
00:03:17
The boy was delighted, but the boy, the penguin, said nothing. Suddenly it looked
00:03:28
sad again as the boy helped him out of the boat. He was sad now. The boy said
00:03:36
goodbye and he floated away. But as he looked back, the penguin looked sadder
00:03:45
than ever. It felt strange to be on his own and the more he thought the more he
00:03:55
realized that he was making a mistake. The penguin was then lost. He was just
00:04:06
lonely. Quickly he turned the boat around and headed back to the South Pole as fast
00:04:13
as he could, as at last he reached the bowl again. But where was the penguin?
00:04:21
The boy searched and searched, but he was nowhere to be found.
00:04:30
Suddenly the boy set off for home. There was no point in telling stories because
00:04:36
there was no one to listen, except the wind and the waves. But then the boy
00:04:47
saw something in the water ahead of him. Closer and closer he got until he could see a penguin.
00:04:54
And so the boy and his friend went home together talking of wonderful things all the way home.
00:05:13
this is the end
00:05:21
I hoped that you liked it
00:05:24
and I hope to see you soon
