This project is called Once Upon a Time and I will give you some guidelines in order to develop it. 00:00:06
Have you ever dreamed of being one of your favourite stars? 00:00:14
Have you ever wanted to recreate the same scenery and characters as in your favourite film? 00:00:17

First, I will be talking about the aim and structure, then I will introduce some key points, 00:00:25
I will specify the different dates till the submission of the videos 00:00:34
and finally I will talk about the speaking assessment, the criteria that I will follow in order to assess your videos. 00:00:39
First, let's start with the aim and structure. 00:00:47
The main aim is to play a scene from a legendary film that will take around 10 minutes. 00:00:50
Then, the structure will be divided into different parts. 00:00:56
First, the film critic will introduce the important information about the film, 00:00:59
such as the gender, the date of release, the characters, the plot, 00:01:04
and later on, the performance of the scene will start. 00:01:08
After explaining the structure, let me tell you some key points in this project. 00:01:12
The scene is recorded in a video. 00:01:18
The time is around 10 minutes if the cast only talks, 00:01:20
but in case that there is an instrument that is played or someone sings, the video will take 15 minutes. 00:01:23
The groups will be formed by 4 or 5 students and the language to use is English. 00:01:30
English, Spanish is not allowed. 00:01:35
Finally, the film critic can play a role in the scene as well, 00:01:37
and remember that this is a school project, 00:01:40
so avoid scenes that are not allowed for this type of educative project. 00:01:42
The dates in order to develop this project and the submission will be the 9th of February, 00:01:48
that is today I'm making this presentation for you, 00:01:54
the 20th of January, you will give me a list with the name of the group and the film that you will develop, 00:01:57
on the 27th of January, you will give me the cast and film critic as well as a summary of the scene, 00:02:04
and finally, on the 27th of February, you will submit the video in the virtual classroom. 00:02:11
Finally, regarding the speaking assessment, 00:02:20
I will consider the content and the preparation of the video, 00:02:23
the interactive communication among the cast, 00:02:27
the language regarding grammar and vocabulary, 00:02:30
and finally the pronunciation, intonation and pause. 00:02:33
