The topic for today is materials and to start we are going to talk about objects. 00:00:00
Objects are made of different materials. 00:00:11
Some of these materials are, for example, this that we have here. 00:00:15
Let's go little by little. 00:00:22
One material is metal. 00:00:25
Some things that can be made of metal are, for example, a fork or a key. 00:00:28
Another material is paper. 00:00:40
Some examples of things that are made with paper are a book or a notebook. 00:00:43
Another material is fabric. 00:00:56
Our clothes are made of fabric, like, for example, a scarf or the gloves. 00:01:00
The material is glass. 00:01:11
Some things that are made of glass are, for example, a glass or a vase. 00:01:14
And the last material is plastic. 00:01:25
We can find plastic in bottles or in pens. 00:01:27
All these materials are manufactured materials. 00:01:36
These means that are made from other materials that we call natural materials. 00:01:43
Some of these natural materials are wood, petroleum, cotton, wool, rocks or sand. 00:01:51
For example, we use wood to make paper or we use sand to make glass. 00:02:03
As well we use rocks to make metal, wool and cotton and petroleum as well to make fabric 00:02:15
and we also use petroleum to make plastic. 00:02:28
