Hello, it's Elizabeth here, and today we are learning about English 5, Unit 6, Awesome Art, Lessons 1 and 2. 00:00:00
So today we are learning about some really awesome vocabulary, and it all has to do with art. 00:00:09
So, I want you to open up your book to page 56 and follow along with me, 00:00:15
because today I will be reading you the passage in the bottom right-hand corner. 00:00:21
It has a little B symbol on it. 00:00:25
And then we will be discussing what object they are trying to describe. 00:00:28
Let's get reading. 00:00:33
All right. 00:00:35
My trip to London, Janet Bean. 00:00:37
Sent September 8th at 1923 to Jilly Bean. 00:00:40
Attachments, amazing sculpture. 00:00:48
Hi, Jilly. 00:00:51
Auntie Janet here. 00:00:53
I'm sending you a photo for your art homework. It's an enormous street art sculpture I saw in 00:00:54
London yesterday. I saw it in the daytime, but at night it can light up. The sculpture is 4.6 meters 00:01:01
wide and two meters high. The main part of the sculpture looks like plastic, but it isn't plastic. 00:01:10
it's made of wood. At the moment, it's green, but it isn't always the same color. 00:01:20
The paint and the lights change color. All right, so what object do you think they're describing 00:01:28
here? They mention it multiple times. Is it a painting? Is it a play? A theater performance? 00:01:36
let's reread the third sentence it's an enormous street art sculpture i saw in london yesterday 00:01:46
they're talking about a sculpture all right thank you for watching this video i will see you in my 00:01:58
next one bye 00:02:06
