Europe's space satellites play an indispensable role in the day-to-day functioning of our society. It influences on various activities; such as watching our favourite football matches or sending SMS'es on your mobile. Satellite information is also important with regards to larger societal concerns such as fluctuations in climate change and strategic planning for humanitarian operations. This video shows some of the activities that depend on European space satellites.
