Hi everybody! In the following lessons we are facing an important challenge. 00:00:01
The river Manzanares is in danger. Invasive species have been invading the river. 00:00:08
Our challenge will be to protect the Manzanares ecosystem. 00:00:17
To defeat such powerful enemies we will need to know them better. 00:00:24
we will learn about these animals about its body parts and we analyze the concepts of endangered 00:00:28
and invasive species later we will become expert hunters by playing a listening game a guessing 00:00:39
game. Which animal are we talking about? After that we will also explore future 00:00:50
tenses to be able to predict and propose different situations and solutions to 00:01:03
the problems. We will also express our own opinions. Later we will be reading a 00:01:12
magazine article. We will read an article about invasive animal species in 00:01:26
European rivers and then we will apply this knowledge to do a webquest to find 00:01:33
out about invasive species in the Manthanaris area. Now we will be ready to 00:01:41
catch the criminal. In order to do so, we will design a wanted poster. We will use 00:01:51
the information you found in the webquest to create a wanted poster of 00:02:02
one of the invasive species in the Manfanaris ecosystem. Finally, you will 00:02:07
present your poster to the class. Then, in groups, we will discuss the possible 00:02:16
solutions to the problem. Are you ready to face the challenge? 00:02:23
