to work in a secondary sector the secondary sector has jobs which transform raw materials 00:00:23
into elaborated products and the main activities which compose this sector are 00:00:38
factories or industries, crafts and constructions. We're going to get to know 00:00:45
a little more about each one of these activities. Factories or industries are 00:00:56
able to produce elaborated products with machinery. They are usually large 00:01:08
buildings where lots of people work a large quantity of products are produced 00:01:13
the industry can be classified into base industries usage industries and 00:01:20
equipment industries base industries transform raw materials into semi 00:01:36
elaborated products they produce products which act as raw materials for 00:01:49
other industries for example they produce a wooden boards from trees usage 00:01:55
industries transform semi elaborated products into products which are 00:02:05
directly sold to people for example the chairs which are made with wooden boards 00:02:10
from trees equipment industries produce machinery or technology used for other 00:02:18
industries for example they make saws hammers and nails to be able to build 00:02:29
chairs industries can also be classified according to the raw materials they use 00:02:40
and the products they make there are chemical industries which produce for 00:02:46
example plastic food industries who produce nutritional products or automobile industries 00:02:52
producing cars crafts are made by craftsmen they create their works in small workshops 00:03:02
and they develop the products with their own hands a very simple machines like this sculpture 00:03:20

Construction is in charge of completing whole buildings and engineering works 00:03:32

The truth is that the amount of buildings and roads constructed is incredible 00:03:47

But there's something very important which you need to know and we cannot forget. 00:04:03
There are lots of factories which are gravely contaminating our air, floor and water. 00:04:10
They look for their own economic profit without thinking of the damage they produce to all surroundings. 00:04:26
That's why we're asking everyone who works in the secondary sector to take care of our planet. 00:04:36
Don't dump residue into nature and use clean and renewable energies. 00:04:42
This is the only way we can achieve a better world. 00:04:51
