Hello everyone, welcome to the presentation of our social science project. 00:00:00
It's titled, Back to the Past. 00:00:07
Yes, yes, you heard right, we have traveled to the past. 00:00:11
Boki, a space martian, has asked for our help. 00:00:16
The evil Goku has robbed several valuable pieces from different periods in history from a museum. 00:00:22
And we have helped him find them. 00:00:34
Let us explain what they did. 00:00:39
First of all, we made rules and we were thinking about the meanings of past, present and future. 00:00:44
Always respecting the security measures. 00:00:52
And at home with our parents, we compared the games that they played with the ones we play now. 00:00:56
And the games that will be played in the future. 00:01:03
Millions of ideas came out. 00:01:07
After all this, our travel began. 00:01:11
Our first stop in the past is Brahisto. 00:01:14
There we learned how they lived and what the fair women were like. 00:01:18
They lived in stripes and were nomadic. 00:01:24
The men hunted, fished and gathered. 00:01:28
The women made clothes from animal skin. 00:01:33
They prepared food and took care of the children. 00:01:39
They invented many things that have saved humans over the years. 00:01:44
They discovered fire inventors. 00:01:50
They would create and design tools to hunt. 00:01:54
They left behind some cave paintings. 00:01:59
Till this day you can still see them. 00:02:05
Look at the paintings. 00:02:10
Historians have discovered how they lived and what they did because the paintings show us. 00:02:12
We also made drawings to represent everything we know about the history. 00:02:21
To find the spirit Roku had stolen, we split into teams and had a competition. 00:02:31
We were lucky. 00:02:40
We were able to recover the spirit and we traveled with Roku to the next time period, ancient history. 00:02:42
We took one step closer to the present. 00:02:50
We went from cavemen to the three of the most important civilizations in ancient history. 00:02:55
The Greek, Egyptian and Roman civilizations. 00:03:02
The change from prehistory to ancient history is the invention of writing. 00:03:05
The Egyptian empire was in Egypt and near the Nile River. 00:03:13
The pharaoh Demas was an important person and was considerable. 00:03:19
They believed in many gods, for example in Horus. 00:03:28
We had to recover the statue of Horus that Roku had stolen. 00:03:33
We went to decipher a message in the pharaoh's leaf using the lapis lazuli technique. 00:03:41
The pharaoh's leaf was the writing used by the Egyptians. 00:03:51
They invented this writing and also the pyramids. 00:03:57
If we travel to Egypt, we can still see them. 00:04:04
We later learned about the Greek civilization and how they lived. 00:04:08
One of their inventions were the Olympic Games. 00:04:14
But what we liked most of this civilization was the myths. 00:04:26
The myths are stories of mythological people. 00:04:31
We worked on the myth of Perseus and Medusa. 00:04:36
We made a Medusa mask. 00:04:40
Finally, we looked at the Roman Empire. 00:04:44
We studied their way of life and their great inventions. 00:04:48
Like their language, Latin, the Roman streets and the aqueducts. 00:04:54
They still stand to this day. 00:05:01
To finish this civilization, we had to decode a message in Latin in order to find Julius Caesar's helmet. 00:05:06
The helmet had been stolen by Roku. 00:05:16
Our next stop was the Middle Ages. 00:05:22
The move from ancient history to the Middle Ages was the fault of the Roman Empire. 00:05:27
We really liked the Middle Ages. 00:05:34
We saw what society was like during that time, with kings and queens, nobles, vassals and slaves. 00:05:38
We learned about the Templars and discovered the inventions of this time. 00:05:47
Gunpowder, the printing press and cathedrals. 00:05:55
We had a lot of fun deciphering messages in groups of medieval languages in order to find the helmet of a knight. 00:05:58
Shin-Goku had hidden. 00:06:11
We also made a worm-eater cereal. 00:06:14
We had a great time. 00:06:18
Our last trip was to the Moderates. 00:06:20
Because Christopher Columbus discovered America, we moved from the Middle Ages to the Modern Age. 00:06:24
In this time period, thanks to the invention of the printing press in the Middle Ages, people were able to access lots of information and study. 00:06:32
Universities were created. 00:06:45
New artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo emerged. 00:06:48
Also great scientists like Isaac Newton and Galileo arrived. 00:06:53
Galileo discovered that the Earth was round. 00:06:59
To finish off this time period, we have two expeditions. 00:07:03
We made it in English to find the Mona Lisa and Leonardo da Vinci. 00:07:08
It was hidden in one of the corridors of the school. 00:07:13
We had such a good time. 00:07:18
This is where our trip ends. 00:07:21
Bucky was super happy with us. 00:07:24
Not only for helping him find all the stolen objects, but also for working well in groups, using empathy and listening to one another. 00:07:28
At the end of this trip, we obtained our passports. 00:07:40
We thank Bucky for this great project. 00:07:44
We made headlines with all the things we learned. 00:07:49
We hope you enjoyed it, and if any time we travel to the future, will join us. 00:07:54
Thank you. 00:08:14
Thank you. 00:08:44
