This is the design of the project that we are going to build in this course.

It is a very classic project for second official because in it you can mix some mechanism and some structures

and then before or next we can add an engine and we can add an Arduino board and we can create a project different or we can extend the project.

But in this case this is the first idea because then when we study 3D printing in the next unit,

we are going to repeat this project but just using the 3D printer.

So it's complicated, this is going to be the first part of the project.

In any design we have different documents. First of all we have the memory, then the planning with a list of materials and tools,

a budget and the most important at the beginning which is the sketches and the parts.

We are going to do a wheel. Everybody knows what is a wheel.

So indeed it consists in two parts that join with small sticks and holding from the sticks we have some swings

and all the other things are supporting with something that can be the structure stable.

So we need very probably also something that we are going to use as base, that it is not included in the project,

but obviously as a logic thing we must add it at the end in order to increase the stability of the structure.

As always, we must mark all the parts of the project, then hone and cut them with different materials.

We are going to mix and combine some materials as a foam board that is usually used in different technological work

with plywood that I think maybe you have already used in the past course and cardboard mainly to create the swings.

When we have marked the different parts with the ruler and the pencil, we must hone and cut them.

Obviously, the foam board with a cutter, the plywood with a saw and the cardboard with a scissor.

Then we need to do some drills and holes using drills and it is also important because for example for the foam board

we usually use an awl or something similar because sometimes it can be dangerous.

We must adjust using some paper and files and finally we must join.

The way we must join it depends, but from my point of view we must join first of all the two parts of the wheels with small sticks

and then when we have joined this, we must join the axis of the wheel.

Finally, the own part with the two parts of the wheels and the axis must be joined to the support

and obviously the support to the base that is in the project.

Finally, you can hold the swings.

To do the swings we can use cardboard and just blend in and paste with glue this one.

So maybe using wires you can hold the small swings to the wheel and that's all.
