Hello everybody! Today we are going to learn how to use a new tool that you have included in your blog. 00:00:00
If you go to the Natural Science section, you will find this picture that will take you to the webpage where you can design a mind map or a concept map about the topic that you prefer. 00:00:07
You can choose the topic from here or you can choose another topic of your interest. 00:00:20
Once you click in here, you will go to this webpage and then you can design your own mind map. 00:00:26
I am sure you remember when we designed the concept map or the mind map about bees after our fantastic workshop at school. 00:00:33
We used the iPads and the app Simple Minds. In this case we are using another one that is very easy to use as well. 00:00:43
You can write in this central box the topic that you are going to do your concept map about. Imagine for example animals. 00:00:51
Once you have chosen your topic, you start designing all the connections and all your mind map using the tools on the top bar. 00:01:00
Or if you prefer, you can click on the box and then you can choose the tools from here. 00:01:10
You can attach a file if you want to include extra information. You can edit your notes, choosing the color, the type of letter. 00:01:17
You can include an image from your computer. You can use connection lines. You can insert extra boxes to make your own design. 00:01:25
So imagine you can do it from the top bar as I told you before. Imagine that you want to choose this one. 00:01:35
In this case it is not connected. You write whatever you want. And always that the box is selected with the dotted line around. 00:01:42
Then you can work on that. You can make it bigger. You can move it up and down. 00:01:51
And if you need to work on another box, then you go there. And the moment that you select it, then again you can start working with that. 00:01:56
You can connect in this case with your line or you can choose other type of connection like this one that is already connected. 00:02:05
You see already given. Or if you prefer, then you can include a connected note and make your own design. 00:02:13
Remember to include different boxes for the different aspects you are going to include about the topic. 00:02:20
This is a voluntary work. I recommend you to investigate, to design, to include pictures, to change the color. 00:02:28
I mean you have plenty of time to do your work and to investigate. 00:02:37
And if you finally want to save your work, you can do it if you go to file. Of course you can save it. 00:02:42
Or if you prefer, because if you save, the option that it gives is the confirmation and then you maybe have to sign up. 00:02:50
But if you don't want to do it, you just can download us and you always have the choice, as you can see here, to download it as a PDF. 00:02:59
